Kerrville Public Utility Board (KPUB) officials reported two power outages in Kerrville and Kerr County on Friday morning, June 14, 2013.
The first outage occurred at approximately 8:04 am, and affected 783 customers West of Ingram. The outage was caused by a squirrel in the Ingram substation. Power was restored at 8:50 am.
The second outage occurred at approximately 9:52 am, and affected 42 customers in the Rio Robles Mobile Home Park. Customers were also affected by power "blinks" in the Broadway, Water, and G Street areas. The outage was caused by a faulty insulator at the Travis substation. Power was fully restored at 10:41 am.
