Tree Power

Tree Power is a nationwide effort by public power utilities to plant trees.    The American Public Power Association (APPA) defines their award-winning program as, “a commitment to beautify the environment and help public power customers save money and conserve energy”.

The Kerrville Public Utility Board (KPUB) has proudly participated in APPA’s Tree Power since 1995, distributing almost 35,000 free trees to their customers.

On April 21, 2012, KPUB will give away 2,000 trees at the KPUB offices, 2250 Memorial Blvd, beginning at 7:00 AM. This year's trees are the Cedar Elm and Mexican White Oak. Please do not forget to bring your coupon to receive your tree.

KPUB is again holding a volunteer food drive for local charities. When you pick up your tree, KPUB will have donation boxes available for canned goods so we can "Keep the Giving Going."
