Power Hours

KPUB’s Power Hours are community-focused educational sessions designed to connect with our customers and keep them informed. These open forums provide an opportunity to learn more about your local utility and how we serve you—not just as a provider of electricity, but as a community partner.

Each Power Hour covers a range of topics to help customers better understand KPUB programs, services, and operations. Presentations and discussions include:

  • Energy-saving tips and tools to help lower your utility bills
  • Updates on current and upcoming KPUB programs
  • How to prepare your home for extreme weather events
  • An inside look at how our rates are structured and determined
  • The benefits of KPUB’s public power model and how local ownership supports both customers and the broader Kerrville community
  • & more!

Power Hours are hosted quarterly in the KPUB Boardroom and typically last one hour. Attendance is free, but an RSVP is typically required.
