Community Support

At KPUB, our commitment to the Kerrville area goes far beyond providing safe, reliable, and affordable electric service. We believe in powering a better community—because we’re not just your utility provider, we’re your neighbors.

We are actively engaged in our community in a variety of meaningful ways. Through our employee volunteer program, KPUB team members regularly donate their time and talents to support local causes, organizations, and events that strengthen the community we serve.

As a publicly owned utility, we also reinvest our revenues directly back into the community. This includes providing financial support to local schools, nonprofit organizations, and community-wide initiatives that make a lasting impact. From sponsoring events to supporting educational and charitable programs, KPUB is proud to contribute to the vitality and well-being of our service area.

KPUB offers a range of outreach programs that reflect our values of public service, helping our customers save energy and money, and celebrating the power of local, community-owned utility service. These efforts allow us to stay connected with the people we serve and provide meaningful opportunities for involvement and support.

Our company-wide commitment to volunteerism connects our employees to local volunteer opportunities by identifying areas where we can give our time and make a difference in our community.

KPUB proudly volunteers with nonprofits in our community, such as:

  • Habitat for Humanity
  • Salvation Army of Kerrville
  • Our local food pantries
  • Meals on Wheels
  • UGRA’s Annual River Cleanup
  • Assembling our Courthouse Christmas Tree
  • Hanging Christmas street ornaments
  • & more!
