Community Events

At KPUB, we’re proud to host events throughout the year that connect with our neighbors and support the Kerrville community. Each quarter, we host blood drives that provide our customers and employees with the opportunity to make a lifesaving difference. We also lead energy-saving initiatives, such as community weatherization workshops, to help households lower their bills and conserve resources. Our Power Hour presentations keep customers informed on important topics such as energy programs, emergency preparedness, and sustainability. And every October during Public Power Week, families look forward to our annual bucket truck ride event in the park—a fun, hands-on way to celebrate public power and learn about electric safety. These events, along with other local sponsorships and outreach initiatives, demonstrate our commitment to fostering a stronger, more connected community.
