Top Workplace Awards are given to companies that excel in creating a positive work culture, as rated by their employees. The rankings are based on anonymous employee engagement surveys conducted by a third party and verified by an independent research firm, measuring key cultural factors in the workplace.
KPUB earned high marks for cultivating an environment where employees feel appreciated and valued, working in an organization that operates efficiently and is guided by strong core values.
“This award reflects the positive workplace culture we’ve built at KPUB,” said Mike Wittler, KPUB General Manager & CEO. “Our employees take pride in the essential service we provide and upholding our customer-centered values within the community.”
In recent years, KPUB has also been nationally recognized for several key achievements, including outstanding electric reliability, safe operating practices, customer satisfaction, dedication to community service, and excellence in communications and financial reporting.
