Safety and Education

At KPUB, electrical safety is a top priority for our employees and the public. As part of our support for teachers & our local schools, KPUB offers numerous top-notch electrical safety programs for schools in our service area, free of charge, to empower educators in our utility service area:

• Arc & spark safety demonstrations to classrooms upon request
• Small grants for STEM education funding or energy-related topics
• Community Shade Tree Grants for up to $500 to service organizations, schools & nonprofits for tree planting efforts
• Assistance with solar education to utilize KPUB sponsored solar demo arrays located at Tivy, Ingram & Hunt schools
