Kerrville Public Utility Board (KPUB) officials reported a power outage Sunday afternoon, which affected 252 customers in the Thompson Drive and Hugo Street area. The outage started at approximately 4:36 p.m., August 5, 2018 and power was fully restored to all affected customers by 6:39 p.m. KPUB officials state the outage occurred when a breaker at Rim Rock Substation locked open. The cause of the outage was a large tree branch that broke and fell across the lines.
